Nevada Public Education Foundation is currently accepting applications for its Wells Fargo Rural Career Development program. Please see below for more information, and check back frequently for more grant opportunities!
Wells Fargo Rural Career Development
These programs will encourage and motivate students to include postsecondary education options and career or technical training in their future plans. Application proposals may include the following: school based enterprises, portfolio development supplies, industry field trip resources, educator externships, career exploration day, Junior Achievement materials and other career development-related experiences.
Eligible school districts include Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, and Pershing.
Please note that all of our grant applications are now aligned with the Ready for Life initiative, a collaborative effort to improve Nevada's success at engaging graduating "ready for life" students and
re-engaging those who prematurely left school. Nevada Public Education Foundation is the statewide convener of Ready for Life.
Applications for programs that address the Ready for Life values, especially in collaboration with community partners, will be given preference.
