Ready for Life is a collaborative cross-agency effort to improve our community’s success at engaging and graduating more “ready for life” students and re-engaging those who have prematurely left school.
In Clark County, Ready for Life is led by a steering committee comprised of more than a dozen local organizations, with the Nevada Public Education Foundation as the convening partner. Approximately 50 organizations and agencies are involved in Ready for Life at various levels, including participation in working subcommittees.
Ready for Life collaboratives are being developed in Churchill and Washoe Counties - stay tuned for more information. If you would like to know how you can be involved in Ready for Life, or to get more information about starting a Ready for Life collaborative in your community, please contact Tiffany Young, Strategic Initiatives Manager.
